What on earth is Maystache?

No, it’s not just another crazy idea that MI came up with. Maystache is an equal opportunity, mustache-growing contest and fund-raising program for various charities.

Starting with a blank canvas on May 1, MI “growers” will breed their collection of upper-lip fuzz by boycotting all razors and any other sharp objects used to remove this fur throughout the month. And MI followers will encourage the growers’ foolishness and further their love for whiskers by putting their cash in the ‘stache of the growers’ charities.

The MI growers will update their development in their ‘stache profiles daily. There, MI followers can check up on the ‘staches and view daily fuzz pictures. On June 1st, the winner with the highest donation amount will be hailed and presented with a sweet award for all to admire. Even better, the charitable organizations will receive the ‘staches of cash that were “grown” throughout the month.
